Can I use motion detection, crying detection, and human tracking without Wi-Fi?
Yes, motion detection, crying detection, and human tracking can be used directly on the monitor without the need to download the app.
What is the maximum coverage range?
The monitor has an unobstructed coverage range of up to 1297 feet. When using the app and connecting to the home Wi-Fi, there is no distance limitation.
Does it support 24/7 recording, and is there a monthly fee?
The DC-SBM003 supports 24/7 loop recording only after an SD card is inserted or cloud storage is activated. Local storage supports up to 128GB (SD card not included), cloud storage is optional with a fee.
Will I be able to upgrade to new features in the future via OTA?
Absolutely. We’ve included OTA updates for easy firmware fixes, so parents can update the baby monitor without returning it. Issues like delays and signal drops have already been addressed with a recent update.
